Another fun day!

Today we had a free day.  We ventured out to a nearby park and strolled around.  It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL park! Never seen one so pretty! The Lotus flowers amazed me so there are plenty of pictures of them!  You're welcome.  HA.

Livy was ready to go!

Emily is unimpressed with the camera.  She will laugh and smile until I get the lens cap off and forget it, This is the look I get.  :-)

Yay for family pictures!!

Playing with Daddy

He's a pretty funny guy.

Hey Dad, look at all those lotus flowers! :-)

Still working on winning over Olivia...

Our first popsicle

 Yummo on a hot day!

That trip to the park wore Emily out!

Went to lunch with the group on the way back.

It was a fun day, Olivia seems a little bit better today.  Hopefully she is on the mend.  She seems pretty happy as I type, in bed, playing, entertaining herself.  This is the first night she has done that.  The last couple have been a fight.  I'm assuming because she felt so bad. She had a major melt down earlier but after some medicine, a bath, and some time playing stacking cups with Daddy... she's happy and settling down on her own.  Thank you Lord! :-)

Emily is still doing well.  I can tell she is holding back in some ways, part of her grieving process.  It will take time.  She's comfortable and happy most of the time.  She is so loving and huggy.  Tomorrow we visit her orphanage.  Pray that that goes well.  I've so many questions to ask them and will be relieved to figure out how to simply fix her an acceptable bottle of water.  That was probably the best thing I learned in our visit to Olivia's orphanage, aside from how very loved she was.

Today we got our final paperwork.  Just awaiting the girls passports which will arrive tomorrow just in time for our flight to Guangzhou on Saturday.  While I was double checking all the info in the paperwork my heart was grieved.  Reading their "finding" ad and seeing the word "orphan" throughout.  I'm so glad they're ours and now we have a wonderful new future ahead... I just hate the idea that there was a day of their life that they did not have a Mommy and Daddy who adored them.

Thanks for your continued prayers! We continue to need them as we settle in to becoming a family.  It takes time and learning to figure it all out.

With Love and Gratefulness,
Jenn & Rob
