Riding the elevator up to the floor she lived on. There are over 700 kids in this orphanage. Emily was on a special floor called the New Hope/ Show Hope Special Care Unit. They are the best of the best!
Emily with her Nanny. Her Nanny loved her very very much! She was so glad to get to see Emily one more time and tell her goodbye.
Some of the other babies int he room.
This little boy is Emily's best friend. He doesn't have a family yet. Boy If i could've scooped him up, I sure would've!
Emily's crib.
Here's all of us! :-)
The is the nurse for the floor Emily lived on. SUCH a sweet woman.
Another friend of Emily's
I adore this little face.
Emily's nanny assured us that we got the BEST little one. I believe her. :-) She told me what a good girl Emily was but we have already come to know that. It's comforting to know she was so very loved.
This is the front of the orphanage.
We had fun playing once we got back to the room.
Finally, we caught a smile on camera! They say it's really good for the kids to go back and say goodbye. It's helps bring closure. I could definitely see this in Emily. She turned the corner and was definitely able to let loose and relax a little. She was ALL smiles the rest of the day.
Oh, that grin!
Olivia had a good day too... well, better than yesterday. She woke up happy but that quickly changed when i tried to walk away to the bathroom. :-) She had a good time with Daddy while i left them for an hour or so. We are getting there.
Sorry for the delay on this post, the internet wouldn't cooperate last night and allow me to get the pictures uploaded. This one will be short, But enjoy these sweet faces!
We get on a plane in a few hours and head to Guangzhou. This is where the US consulate is. Pray for the plane ride! Lord Help those people on the plane with the five families and 6 babies that have never seen a plane!! LOL
Love you guys!
Jenn
