Day 6

So we are on Day 6 of our LOA wait.  Yes, I'm counting.  Yes, we have a LONG way to go.  May 23 is our magic number.  That's the 50th day of our wait and for all the stars to line up like we need them to, It needs to happen on or before that day.

Why May 23? Well, we know that after LOA it's approximately 10 weeks from LOA to travel.  That would put us at the beginning of August.

Why is the Beginning of August important? Well, Emily turns 2 on August 14th.  We desperately want to be with her for her 2nd birthday.  That and... any day closer we can get to our little girls is a day less they have to spend in an orphanage.

It's amazing... the closer we get... the more real it is becoming.  Watching families come together through facebook and blogs is a beautiful thing.  While it feels like FOREVER away, I look back at how far we've already come.  That red thread is getting shorter and shorter.  ;-)

Keep praying.  Keep your fingers crossed.
